FAQ
We sell the davit, spec it for your boat and handle the chocks and swim-step hardware your tender sits on. Boom davit installs — backing plates, structural reinforcement, hydraulic plumbing — must be done by a certified installer, or by special request only. We'll spec the system and tell them exactly what's needed.
Capacity equals tender weight + outboard + fuel + a safe margin. For a 9 ft inflatable with a 15 hp outboard, plan around 350–450 lbs working load. For a 13 ft RIB with a 50 hp, you're looking at 700–900 lbs. We'll find the davit that's right for you! We assess your newly bought system 100%. Even things like batteries, horsepower and fuel can all drastically affect the weight of a boat, sometimes in excess of 100s of pounds. We provide accurate information rather than what a brochure states for maximum safety.
