Davits · sales & spec
Newport Harbor yacht owners have been calling us for davit specs since the 80s. Tell us the boat, the transom, and the tender — we'll quote the right system and handle the chocks and swim-step hardware. Full davit install goes to your yard.

FAQ
We sell the davit, spec it for your boat, and handle the chocks and swim-step hardware your tender sits on. Full davit installation — backing plates, structural reinforcement, hydraulic plumbing — is handled by your yard. We'll tell your installer exactly what's needed.
Capacity equals tender weight + outboard + fuel + a safe margin. For a 9 ft inflatable with a 15 hp outboard, plan around 350–450 lbs working load. For a 13 ft RIB with a 50 hp, you're looking at 700–900 lbs. We'll spec the system from your tender's actual rigged weight, not the brochure number.
Often yes. Most modern swim platforms can take a davit with proper backing and structural reinforcement. We'll inspect (or review photos), tell you whether it's viable, and recommend the right hardware. The structural work itself goes to your yard.
We work with Nautical Structures, Steelhead Marine, Forespar, Brower, Marquipt, Aritex, plus most major manufacturers on request. We'll spec what actually fits your boat instead of upselling stock.
